    as far as i know there is a casino in maynooth ,, think its called "favourites" .

    Its right off main street, down the alley by the italian restaurant. Just go up the steps and ring the bell. Theres cash games from 11pm thurs to sunday.

    Its potentially walking distance if your feeling energetic!? ;)

    But seriously its about 2/3 miles; the 67 buses heading for Dublin come through Celbridge, wont cost more than a couple of quid.

    And after you've cleaned out the cash table a taxi only sets you back 8 or 10 euro depending on who the driver is! :p

    Although if you qualify for our VIP program we'll pick up the taxi costs!

    favourites looks like it has decent tournaments and hopefully the cash games will be full of students calling big raises with KQs:) I like the couple of pub tournaments its offers. A 50 fo pub game must have something resembling a decent structure. all in all it looks good. I am used to playing in the Eglinton in Galway so i have been used to a good casino.

    anyone who has played in favourites what do you make of the cash games?

    Just moved up from galway myself and due to space and demand the tournaments in favourites wouldnt be near as good as the eglinton. Have to say the cash games are enjoyable and friendly and even if your stuck from monday-wednesday celbridge is just up the road
