Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

If anyone stops you and asks if you interested in some perfume and hands you a pice paper two smell it,DON'T. It's a new scam, the paper is laced with drugs. You pass out so they can rob you, or worse.

The scam recently happened in the tesco car park.

I'm not to sure if this is true. I received this in a text from multiple people

Better to be safe than sorry !

This was posted in the Waterford City section but I heard it happened in Cork today. Be careful.

This text has been floating around......... i;m not too sold on it.

The only place you'd be asked to smell a perfume is in a shop, or a busy shopping street. There's no way nobody would notice someone robbing an unconcious person.

    I call shananigans!

Just had to quote you Karl Hungus because I'm getting an almighty smell of that brown stuff under your username. It's only in this thread though.

Getting someone to sniff a piece of paper, and then robbing them when they collapse in a heap on the street. Yeah, real subtle.

If you make some money then if you give me your bank account details then I can deposit $9million in your bank account on behalf of a recently deceased Nigerian general.

People especially in the media should learn to use snopes by now. I have a few friends who send me these type emails and I email them back the snopes link hoping they will develop some skepticism to future claims but alas they just reply "oh it was a fake, fair enough" followed two weeks later by "I just thought I should warn you about this new email I got"
