B&D Jigsaw

Was doing a spot of decking when my Black&Decker jigsaw let out a crack and emitted a small cloud of smoke. Anyone know if it's fixable or should I just bin it?

I'd just bin it, sounds like something up with the motor, you cold check to see if the brushes have worn on it first tough. After that a B&D is cheaper to replace than fix
