    Hey All,

I'm a PhD student in the School of Psychology at Trinity College doing my research on driver behaviour.

I'd really appreciate it if anybody could do my online questionnaire:

    Driver Behaviour Study

    Thanks!
    Fearghal

P.S. It would be great if anyone who does do the survey could reply to this thread, just to stop it from dissappearing too quickly.

    This question disturbed me
Stay in a motorway lane that you know will be closed ahead until the last minute before forcing your way into the other lane?

the way its worded suggests its a bad thing, if everyone went into the lefthand lane too early you get a massive jam! merging is proper way to go about it - doesnt and shouldnt imply aggresion, as the question sugests!

    Done.

Although some of my answers (Do you travel over 80kph in a 50 kph zone = everyday) makes it sound like I tear around estates/residential areas.

Some speed limits are just wrong.

Done, but some of the questions 'imply' bad driving .

Like the one about staying in a lane that you know is going to change.

    And the accident question.

I drove two different cars into walls -
First one was too fast into a corner on a gravel road, and the car lost traction and ended against the wall.
Second one was a sharp corner on an onramp, just after it had started to rain - again too fast into the corner, oil on the road, car ended up against the barrier.
Both of these happened in my first year with a full licence.
No one injured, bit of damage to each car - nothing major,

But I have had two accidents .
