Moving to Limerick

I'm from Meath, I'm starting a course at UL in August so I've to move to Limerick. I lived on campus before but it's alright, rent is quite high. I'm thinking of living off campus but I don't know where to start. Where should I live? What is the average rent I should be paying? Does anyone know of any shared DECENT houses…

if u want to be within walking distance to UL, you'd be talking estates in castletroy, e.g. college court etc. maybe cost 50 euro a week sharing with 3/4 others. elm park is another but houses are looking a bit jaded in there. early bird catches the worm and all that.
