Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Alright lads,

Been djing at home for about a year now. I've been plugging my master out of my mixer into a cd player until now. What i want to do is buy a speaker/amp set that i can plug master out straight into. Nothing amazing needed as it is currently just for my house.
Any ideas what would be best?

    Cheers!

Buy active speakers (with an amp built in) as these would suit best for home use.

Give an idea of your price range to get some ideas

I have these and I'm certainly not loaded.

I am terribly terribly handsome however.

Well, IIRC some of them arent so dear, but some are. In any case, anything is dear in the eye's of a student :p

    Nice one lads.
I'm lucky enough to have a job right now so I don't mind spending all my wages on my setup. Probably don't want to be spending more that 300 on this though. So that's my range I suppose...

Are the Rokit speakers the sh!t yeah? Any difference between the 5, 6 and 8? And would 1 be sufficient for a bedroom setup?

    Wattage, i.e. Loudness

It would work but wouldn't be ideal, you'd lose out on the stereo aspect. Best to get 2 slightly cheaper speakers than one top of the range speaker.
