Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Have you turned on the BIOS option to remap addresses above the 64bit limit?

Just find the option in the BIOS and turn it on. The exact wording may vary somewhat though.

Remapping should definitely be on. What video card do you have? Is it integrated? Have you installed SP1 or higher?

Check the system properties window in Vista. From SP1 onwards it should show the physically present memory, regardless of the memory mapping.

I'm a bit skeptical myself, but I don't know of any surefire to check the addressable memory versus the phsyical in Vista.

Right under the ram in System properties in Vista is system type followed by either 32 or 64 bit.

If you needed to install a service pack to view the remaining ram then my first assumption is that you have a 32 bit OS, as the patch to allow users to see the total ram rather then the addressable ram was issued to 32 bit Windows OS's.
