Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

That's a bit of an urban legend, 666DIE is a Ford Escort, but there is this one:

Nah I dont sell Saabs. Better clear this one up. My user name was picked in a hurry because I joined to post on the " Saab 900 owners meeting " thread here last year. I must change that. Mods can I change my name?

An admin will change your name if you're being stalked or something, otherwise you need to become a subscriber and then you can change it to whatever you want.

Ed, did Rosslare give out a different reg number or did you just ring them to share the funny side :D

what did the priest say or did you tell him?

I believe that you can insist on a different reg if you are given 666 or 13.

If you do a cartell check oon your county you will find very few 666's. I did one on sligo as I knew of a Citroen Saxo that the owner wanted 666 for. Think it was 00 so 666.

There was a trailer registered in the garage recently, think it was DF666.

Wait, does that mean we can pay the private plate fee and get these neglected reg plates?

Many moons ago a buddy of mine had a Mk1 escort ( when they were pretty new ) :o
    Reg No. = VMI 666

    Class number.

anothe buddy of mine alway got the numbers 676 on his plates of new cars, He always seemd to have a bit of a mishap with them.. ( Slight accidents )
Until his father pointed out that no matter if you add no's 1*2 or 2&3 it added to 13
Never got that number again and amazingly it was the end of his incidents

I gave a friend of mine the lend of a car years ago cause he was really stuck. In the week he had it , it broke down twice , got pulled over by the guards for no reason and then got his first and only points on his license for speeding. It was a Daihatsu Charade with the reg number 90 KK 666. I wouldnt mind but we were all laughing at him driving out the gate because of the reg.....Talk about bad oman :D
