Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Ok so anyone who has ever played pokemon on the DS will know how addictive it is and I became hooked many moons ago.

I was very proud of how far I had progressed and all the levels of my pokemon...until my lovely nephews decided they were going to misplace the game on me.

So my sister being lovely popped into Gamestop and picked me up a pre owned game and I happily played it for a few hours this evening, doing the mundane thing levelling up....go to turn it off and I am informed I can't save it as there is already a saved game.

I will not go into what my reaction was like but lets just say the term over reaction would be an understatement.

So boardsies has there ever been a time when you just screamed to universe,oh c'mon give me a break!

I am not talking about the time your car was stolen etc just those little inconveniences or bits of bad luck that to this day can make you annoyed just thinking about it.

*and yes haha I am adult who plays pokemon.

this yarn would have been better if the cartridge you bought at gamestop turned out to be your original.

No I mean I'm pretty certain that you can. You might have to delete the old one first, but it should be in the menu. You didnt turn it off without saving did you? :P

I lost my entire family in a tragic trans-Alpine hot air ballooning tragedy.
It took 3 weeks for rescue teams to save me, by then I'd eaten half of little Timmy's corpse just to stay alive.

However, reading about your Pokemon predicament has helped me put things in perspective and now I realise that things could have been so much worse.
God bless and all my prayers are with you.
