Red light on eircom router

Can someone tell me why the very last light on my eircom router keeps going red every now and again? The last week or so it has been especially bad and sometimes when it does come back working the speeds im getting are way below what im supposed to! Its not an incorrect password as I have the right one and it has been working at times, but it goes red every few days the last while and will stay like that for ages....

Sounds like low attainables which will cause intermitant connection like what you're having now, ring up tech support and they should be able to help you.
