The VLX has a quicker response time, but they really should have tested like for like sticks instead of Hori's ultra premium stick.

Test is interesting, but needs to be repeated with the sides swapped -- since it could mean that P1/ USB port 1 has a speed advantage over P2, instead of it being anything to do with the sticks themselves.

I think it's more that she's ok when she gets in, as with most command throw characters, it's just her tools to get in are really poor.

I'd say that's definitely a factor too though.
A lot of people tend to freak out when Mak gets in close and eat a lot of hits they should be able to avoid/block.
