Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Having trouble with sound - Windows Live Messenger

I'm having trouble with the sound on Windows Live Messenger. When I try to talk to someone, I can see them perfectly clearly but the sound is all broken up. They can hear/see me fine.

I've got Eircom broadband - 3meg if that makes any difference.

I'm getting the same problem on two separate machines; my laptop running a webcam and on a netbook with its own built in webcam.

The version of messenger I'm running is 14.0.8064.206

    Any ideas?

Does this person have the same problem when speaking to anybody else... i.e. does their mic maybe have a dodgy connection?

No, the other person was OK.

I've managed to cure the problem - I managed to erase all traces of the current WLM from my PC and installed a version from 2008 that worked a treat.
