Dole waiting times in DLR

    Can anyone give me an idea how long I'll be waiting for my dole to come through in Dun Laoghaire? I signed on about 3 weeks ago now and am waiting for a means test for jobseekers allowance.

    Whats the average waiting time?

    Also will I be backdated to when I signed on and paid for the weeks I'm waiting?

    Don't know about the waiting times now. But you will get paid backdated.

    I had to wait 6 weeks for my first payment, but i was told it can take anything up to 8 weeks.. and yes i got back paid in one lump sum..
