whats the best way to get rid of neetles and thizzels(however you spell that) there are a few in each field that wernt reseeded with 5+ years scathered around them. is there any spray that you can spray the whole field with that wont affect grass or do you have to do each one serperatly. also how long would you have to leave before grazing.

If they weren't cut or topped this year, most likely are past the stage for spraying now if you want to get a good kill. If you have only a few best to spot spray with a knapsack or a hand lance off a sprayer,

There are a number of products on the market, we use Grazon90.

As with all sprays it is important to mix as recommended. people often think that buy using more you are doing a better job, in fact the opposite is the case, initially you think you are getting a great kill, but in fact the quick kill has prevented the chemical from entering the root system & in a couple of years you will be back to square 1

7 days should long enough to keep stock off if there are no noxious weeds.
we have often spot sprayed without removing the animals at all.
