Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Dundrum to Ballsbridge

My other half needs to get from Dundrum to Ballsbridge for work this week only, in the fastest way possible. We're not fron Dublin and only moved up at the end of last year, so we're not in the know when it comes to public transport.

He thought about getting the Luas to Stephen's Green, walking to the Dart and getting the Dart to Lansdowne Road and walking to Ballsbridge from there, but that would take ages.

Also thought about driving and parking, but on-street parking isn't cheap!

Today he got off the Luas at Ranelagh and walked to Ballsbridge which is a good 30 min walk when you're carrying a laptop and files.

He checked Dublin Bus but couldn't find anything on it.

So.... does anybody know of any buses that would take him from Dundrum area to Ballsbridge??

48A/44 to Ranelagh then 18 from there to Ballsbridge?

17 to UCD then 84 to Ballbridge (84 not too frequent at all) or
    17 to Blackrock/Frascati then 4, 7, 8, 45 to Ballsbridge

Where in Dundrum? Where in Ballsbridge?

Luas or bus 44/a/a/c, 48a to SSG and any bus 4/a, 5, 7/a/b, 8 from Nassau Street or 45 from Merrion Square to Ballsbridge.

Walk / cycle or Luas or bus 44/a/a/c, 48a from Dundrum to Milltown and then along the Dodder through the park.

Bus 116 from Dundrum to Donnybrook and then along the Dodder through the park.

Bus 46b (rare) from Kilmacud to Donnybrook.

Bus 63 or 84 from Stillorgan to Ballsbridge.

Bus 5 (rare) from Kilmacud to Ballsbridge.

Any bus from Stillorgan to Donnybrook.
