Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Wireless flash issue.

I have a wireless flash system I got on ebay which I connect to the Canon 580 external flash. When it is set up with ETTL -2 the flash output is stronger on the wireless system (and noticeably louder) and really whitens everything and messing up shots, when I click the pilot light button the flash output is as I would expect it to flash.
Can anyone give me a tip on what is going wrong here?

you could try taking it off ETTL and switch to manual and choose the correct amount of power that you want from the flash 1/16 , or 1/64 etc

its because the triggers you have dont transmit ettl, so you have to set the power of the flash manually

Only few wireless systems support E-TTL. Check specification of the transmitter.

The Canon ST-E2 supports E-TTL for off camera flash. It also aids in auto focus.
