    Hi.

Is there much of a distance between the train station and the parnell place bus station? is it easy to walk it or would you need to take a bus/taxi whatever?

    cheers

Part of it is downhill if you are going from the train station to the bus station. Not much of a hill though.

The number 5 bus leaves the train station ~ 15m intervals.

Yip it's an easy stroll, easy to find the bus station too as it's on the river. Only reason to take a bus/taxi is if you have a * really really* heavy bag ;)
