just wondering which one everyone would recommend in terms of reliability and performance or does it jus come down to which one you think looks better( ie. internals identical)

There's no difference between the two apart from the shape. Internally they're both a DBoys M4. Externally they look slightly different. The choice is entirely dependant on what you prefer the look of.
