using skype with three network with samsung

Hi I'm having problems using skype on my samsung ultraon the three network. i downloaded skype on its browser & signed in fine. i can receive calls but unable to call my skype contacts. everytime i try to call a conatct the timer started spinning then simply stops after 5 seconds with no connection. can anyone help? thanks
