would anyone, who has read the treaty in its entirety, make a list of the several legal garuntees and match them to article numbers from the legal lisbon text?

because people, mostly yes advocates, always state that these are not needed as they are in the lisbon text already...

it would be good to see where they are - as a reference point

    thanks

That's a misrepresentation. The guarantees weren't needed because they are guarantees of things that are not in the Lisbon text.

SECTION A: RIGHT TO LIFE, FAMILY AND EDUCATION
Nothing in the Treaty of Lisbon attributing legal status to the Charter of Fundamental Rights of the European Union, or in the provisions of that Treaty in the area of Freedom, Security and Justice affects in any way the scope and applicability of the protection of the right to life in Article 40.3.1, 40.3.2 and 40.3.3, the protection of the family in Article 41 and the protection of the rights in respect of education in Articles 42 and 44.2.4 and 44.2.5 provided by the Constitution of Ireland.
What specific article of the Lisbon Treaty do you think I should refer to in order to back up "Nothing in the Treaty of Lisbon..."?

oh..ok ..."Lisbon means we will all be conscripted into EU army"

    In treaty about that: nothing

Guarantee: we promise not to conscript you into EU army

"Last time in the Lisbon affair
I voted on things that weren't there
They still aren't there again today
But are now guaranteed to have gone away."

    (With apologies to Mearns.)
