I saw this play last night as the THT in Galway, as part of the Galway Arts Festival. Has anyone else seen it or going to see it? I was excited about the play (have a look at the this Guardian review for an idea of what it's about -- http://www.guardian.co.uk/stage/2009/feb/08/palace-of-the-end-royal-exchange). However I was disappointed. I felt that the play was manipulative, the story-telling contrived and the acting hammy. What do other people think?
