Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Gonna be embarrasing now if I fail! Really looking forward to my training this weekend now! Not so much the test! :D

Don't worry about failing, the best thing coming out of this is the amount of training you're doing. It will set you up nicely for years of biking :)

Jimmay - go for it. I hadn't been on a bike in 16 years and took some proper training, Had three lessons, long ones, and did a spin around before the test. Got test first time in Naas. Had a few marks but its a pass.

I took the approach that even if I failed it I would understand the test process and be a lot more relaxed next time. Basically just ride the bike, don't hang around, up to speed limits when you can safely do it. Watch your mirrors and lifesavers.

Marks that I got were after the U-Turn when a granny stopped beside me looking for directions. Had her shouting at me and the tester giving me instructions at the same time so broke my concentartion. Didn't cancel teh indicator when I pulled away from kerb for slow 4mph ride and had a slight wobble, was riding to slow, should have been a bit faster.

Biggest problem I found was nerves and trying to remember everything hence doing it for teh experience alone would stand to you next time.

    Best of luck

    Yeowwww!!!
I did it! Can't believe it, still in shock! Woweee wow wow haha!!
Only got 2 grade 2 marks. Absolutely delighted! :)

Now the fun begins picking out a bike! I can't wait. My trainer gave me a go of his CB500 after and OMG I loved it, it was like a different experience altogether.

Not to toot my own horn but to think last week I'd never even been on a momobike and now I've a full license, it's probably one of my proudest accomplishments!

Thanks to everyone who posted tips and encouragement!!!
