    Is there any free FPS games that you don't have to download?
    I only found 1 and thats quake live...

    Battlefield Heroes is really good fun, can get playing that in about 20 minutes but you do need to download the installer first, same as Qlive.

    If you have a Steam account and a Source game, there is an unlimited number of mods at your disposal.
    Might I reccommend Insurgency and Eternal Silence. Very good games.

    MechWarrior 4 is going free too. Giant robots with lasers, can't go wrong... unless it's named MechAssualt of course...

    The key word there is "GOOD"...

    You used to be able to get Far Cry and GRAW for free but I think they've been taken down (or locked for the US only)

    it's ok I guess, but it's really just a quake clone. Getting Quake III would be better.

    The FEAR Combat, the multiplayer part of the original game, is free.

    I think Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory is also free.

    oh didn't see that you don't want to download the game, ok well you could try "instant action" as well. It's like Quake Live.

    Ye wolfeinstein enemy territory is free fps game, you do have to download it though but its not that big size of a game. Though its a great fps to get into once you get the hang of it.
