holiday homes near wexford town

    Hi Folks,
    Have just been looking on the web for a holiday cottage to rent for a week 8th-15th august approx. for two adults, either two bedrooms or a twin room will do.
    Everything i can see on the web is either prohibitively expensive or booked out.
    Looking for something in the 300eu price region if possible.

    Hey,
    this site may assist. Very little self catering in Wexford Town itself however. Rosslare, Courtown etc.. but perhaps a few near Wexford itself.

    Hi there,

    i had family over from the UK last year and I can confirm anything near wexford town / rosslare will cost you an absolute fortune. ......cheapest I found started at €850 per week or thereabouts....I contacted loads of advertised places (found in local shop adverts) and all demanded around that figure.
    FYI most places were saturday to saturday (and couldn't change this without you paying for two weeks!)

    in the current economic climate maybe you can get a good deal...
    if you manage to get anything for around €300 my hats off to you!!!

    if you need advice for areas that you find somewhere just ask!

    go on Daft and email people renting in/around Wexford..offer them a price of 300€ cant see why they would turn a bit of money down for a short term rental..they would be nuts otherwise..flexibility is the name of the game these days!
