Why can't I thank a post?

What post are you trying to thank? It's disabled on some forums.

A few posts on After Hours, which have been thanked by others too, its says i am restricted from doing it.

That's odd, assuming there isn't something odd about those posts since oher people thanked them (in the absence of an actual link i can't have a look at that)

Can you try logging out and logging in again to clear the boards cookies as you go? It's the most likely thing to affect it that I can think of.

That's the thanks link, which would never work for me, it's dependent on your logon AFAIK:).

Can you try what I suggested above and give me a link to the actual post/thread(letting me know what post number it is if it's a thread link)? Unless you've already tried clearing your cookies, in which case just the link would help.

edit: Is this the thread? If so, which post number in it and have you tried clearing your cookies and logging out and in again?
