    Any tips please?

Is Bonjela not safe to use now?

It is ,once you use it sparingly!
The issue is people practically feed it to their kids.
The teetha teething granules are good.
    Good luck;)

Calgel works best, but can only get it up north.

I tried bongela and teetha but found them useless, pure waste of money.

I second calgel if you know someone in the north who can get it for you.

If it's front teeth that are coming through then you can get cool rings that may help.

If it's quite bad then maybe a bit of whatever baby type painkiller you use.

Oil of cloves. Natural anaesthetic. Just use it sparingly.

My man loves the teetha.. The bonjela teething gel you get up north is safer, apparently, but I only used it once with himself, he prefers the teetha, I think.

My Mom used to use something called "gripe water".
I think it was effective, can't remember very well.

If you are breastfeeding, I found momsicles worked best for me. Express some breastmilk, freeze in little cups with a stick in, and make in essence little icelollies. If baby is on solids, you can try freezing slices of peach and pear for cool teething relief.
