Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Fellas,

My friend was wondering if he buys an Xbox 360 and brings it home to Brazil would it work. I checked the power brick on mine and it's rated at 200-240volts meaning in my opinion that it won't work as his supply is 110volts.

Would ya be able to confirm that for me?
    Cheers

Confirmed. Your friend could buy a power brick in Brazil, which will convert the 110V to the DC supply that all boxes require.

Yes he can buy a converter and will work or isntead buy a power supply on ebay (usa model ) that will be 110V the same as Brazil

But make sure he has a TV in Brazil with HDMI otherwise he wont get any color with his console

Just an observation but surely it would be just cheaper to buy the Xbox in Brazil given our many taxes, VAT etc etc here

Do you really think that a Xbox would be cheaper in Brazil ?

FYI: A Xbox in brazil if you buy from a dodge source ( illegal import ) that is the cheapest way to get one it Will cost you around €660,00 Euros and this is the 60GB version

Or use vga and pc monitor. A 110V power supply is the best solution
