Hi,
My girlfriend has a contract with meteor and is halfway trough her second year. We moved recently and she forgot to pay her bill, so they cut off her service. She then paid the bill in full but they only reconnected today after she gave out to them over the phone.

The problem is they had her service disconnected for over 4 weeks and they still want her to pay for that month even though she couldnt use the phone.

before anyone asks why she didnt ring sooner we had been away for a while and she didnt need to make calls

Can they charge you for a service even though you cant use it? I know she is in a contract but still

she was under contract so yes, even if she didn't/couldn't use the service she's still liable
