Hi lads and lassies. Long time reading this site but 1st time to post.
Moved to the Rush a few years ago. Not a bad place still settling in I suppose.
My main problem down here is on the beach where I like to run, beautiful as it is there are way too many dogs with owners that do not know what the lead they are swinging in their hand is for:rolleyes:..So far I have lost count of the amount of dogs that have jumped on me and one particularly scary encounter with a snarling boxer dog
Just want to know if anyone else is having similar problems.
Rang Fingal and all they say is they will send the dog warden down.

Welcome! Feel free to start a thread on dogs on the beach if you'd like to get other posters' input.

    Definatley:D

Ah no, Rush has just come to life or made the transition from sleepy village to vibrant little town. A fair bit going on out here at moment so that probably explains so much posting from here.

We also like to see how the rest of N.C.D. are doing. Some excellent threads on here. I actually joined the photography forum but find I am spending more time here even tho I am using with my camera more than ever.

i think they have specialty teas there too. could be wrong.

they have soup, cakes and i think one special main course lunch type thing.

its worth to stick your head in the door to see the decor

Coool It's going on my list of places to check out in DCN.

While on the eatery topic, does anyone know of a good Mexican Restaurant in DCN. WHile I love Cactus Jacks and Acalpulco in the city, I really don't want to have to go all the way in for some great Mexican food.

Cook it a lot at home, but it would be nice to get out and have someone else do the cooking for a change.

Ha! I bet you are suffering alright. I recently took up Kyokushin (Karate) in Swords and my muscles were certainly feeling the pain after the first 2 nights.

If you keep it up though, you'll be well used to it before ya know it!
