    Hi all, just looking for some advice as to what i should do to improve a tattoo i got 7 years ago. It was the first one i got done and really was a rash decision, the design is bland and the little batman like designs in the centre of the circles are plain horrible lol. The pic probably makes it look worse than it actually is. I am a fan of celtic design so would ideally like to stick with it, any ideas are welcome !! thanks

    Could make it a half sleeve with lots of colour? cover up won't totally cover up a tattoo, you will always notice it. a good cover up will draw the viewers eye away from the original tattoo.

    Anyways, if you wanna stick with Celtic work Id like to suggest really heavy black knot work, its gonna be near impossible to hide the original completely because the linework looks like a full scale blowout.

    So yeah, knot-work/filligree, heavy, black.. at least on the section to cover the cross. Maybe under that you could have some really nice celtic animals like the ones that were on the back of the old currency :)
