Hi guys,

My ancient Peugeot 106 (1994) just failed the NCT for:

- Rear axle suspension (38% should be 30%)
- Exhaust emissions (lambda 1.043 should be between .97 and 1.03)
- worn front suspension ball joints

It's actually in good condition and doesn't give any trouble so I would like to get it fixed and retested if possible. Obviously though I don't want to sink a lot of money into it cos it won't last for ever.

I've just moved to Galway and don't know any of the garages so was wondering if anyone here could advise me on somewhere that would give me an honest quote and get the car fixed cheaply if its worth fixing.
