Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

You are missing the man's point.

He is saying you have a right to travel unhindered on the roads. Every fine they impose is justified in the name of road safety.

Yes, we are stupid. What we need is a referendum on every act or change to an act. Thatd get the country moving.

What about acts that are passed but you peronally disagreed with? You'd be complying with that without your consent.

Which parts of the orignal constitution were written specifically to deal with mass car ownership in the 21st century?

Tell me ONE act that you have to comply to WITHOUT consent. Note - consent can be signing an application form, having a driving licence, pleading not guilty in court etc.

Part of constitution - right to travel unhindered.

nobody is stopping you walking everywhere.

But if you want to partake in driving you have to follow the rules.

You are told you have to follow the rules, because the rules allow them to extract money from you.

It is possible to not have your car registered, and have no licence etc. You just need to know the legal game. They play the game on you...

No i didnt sign up to the criminal justice act. But all the people that utter the words 'not guilty' or 'guilty' in court do. Again you should learn how the 'game' works.

You opt out of those rules by not driving. No one is forcign you to drive.

The same way no one can force me not to drive. So you see how consent is given?

Acts are NOT law. They are a suggestion if you like, a contract that you agree to.

When did we stand by idly and allow the tin-foil hat brigade into the building?

I think someone needs to get themselves a tinfoil hat and get themselves over to the conspiracy theory forum. Seems to be a whole lot of wild accusatio flying around from 1-2 posters.

Worse, we facilitated them by givign them a forum of their own. It was inevitable they would spread and infest the rest of boards (ironic really as thats what they accuse "them" of doing) . We can only blame oursleves really.

i've just read jimmymolloys threads here and in AH...

was it a waste of my time? Yes, but in a slightly enjoyable surreal way. I'm surprised at people rising to the troll though, myself included :o

JimmyMolloy - when you look at a city centre map, and see the big red dot that says "You are here", do you look around and think "how did they know that?"

    IBTL :D

People as a whole, by our very nature are animals. We need to be feed sh1te to keep us under control. Its called civilised society. Its the field 95% of the planet play in every day.

If you dont like it, work hard, study, become very very very wealthy and start living like a philanthropist, worming your way into places that contain the rule makers. Then you can look down on society scum!

Until then - deal with it.

Im surprised both the op's troll threads are still open.

If people reported troll posts, it would really help. If people must post "IBTL", at least report it as well.

Thread locked, as funny as it was to read.

Edit - I wasted my 9000th post for this crap :(
