Hatebreed - Escape (Metallica Cover)

Heard this the other day, odd choice considering in my own personal opinion, since this is a track I think Metallica have forgotten they ever made.

Interestingly, this song gets covered a lot by Metal bands, and has been covered more times then perhaps Metallica has performed it live.

Tis a great cover

I think its about time Metallica get over their dislike for the song and play it some time. Very under rated I think. Most people say they dont like it because Metallica dont like it :pac:

Aye, thats quite a good cover. Not a fan of Hatebreed normally but hands up - good job there! One of the better 'tallica songs imo

The Gojira cover is class. Vocals are perfect for the bring the hammer down part :pac:

Trivium one is alright, vocals are fairly useless however haha

Now, this may sound sacrilegeous.. but i liked that! And i did at the time aswell. AN interesting take on a standout song from an otherwise average at best album

I have to say that Funeral For A Friend isn't half as bad as I expected. The vocals are nasty but everything else is pretty good.

Even though I like the band themselves, that Funeral For A Friend cover is pretty vile, bad vocals and sounds sloppy.

Motorhead play Metallica's songs better than they do themselves.
