Thats one thing i regret i never got to see live. Jason provided excellent backing vocals and on occassion great (Lemmy esque) vocals for tracks like whiplash.

I know i too missed out on that. his backing vocals were brilliant. Creeping Death was phenomenal with him. him and hetfield swapping verses on Creeping Death and Whiplash was excellent.

Trujillo is a great bass player but his back up vocals dont tend to be that great :pac:
there are exceptions though, I think he does a great job on disposable heroes

    :D

Robs backiong vocals are not half as bad as Kirks.

I remember him doing the backing vocals to Frantic the first time I saw Metallica.
Jesus, he sounded like the ****ing honey monster.

I think he still does them just for frantic :pac:

The rest of them even laugh at him haha.
Saw a video a while back where they were helping Trujillo learn the words to seek and destroy and james just started to slag off kirks voice :pac:

Its horrible. Machine Heads cover of Battery is brilliant

Yes, it was free with Kerrang magazine for the anniversary of MOP. Trivium did a cover of the title track, It wasnt that bad musically, but the vocals werent the best!

Oh yes, forgot about the Trivium track. Matt Heafy's vocals are too raspy
