I'm a bit rusty on SQL, but I think that I haven't got the permissions to create temporary tables in a MySQL5 database I created (and can't grant that permission to myself).
    • Can I grant this permission to my user or
    • Do I ask you guys to do it for me or
    • Can it not be done or
    • Do you not allow it for some reason?

This is on minimus linux hosting, by the way.
    Thanks.

Had a similar issue in the past unfortunately

Its not currently available on the shared hosting option

Its not possible to set individual permissions for users ( was response I had before )

Thankfully I can do it all on my VPS with them just not on the shared hosting

Looks like the control panel will be getting an upgrade tonight ? :)

The ability to create temporary tables in MySQL should now be available to all users.

The latest upgrade, as usual, will address a lot of the issues that people have brought to us :)
