Vodafone sim in an 02 phone

My boyfriend is joining an 02 contract and as he just bought a new phone he's going to give me the new phone that he gets from 02, does anyone know if there will be an issue with using my Vodafone sim in this 02 phone?

a new phone from o2 will allmost certaintly be locked to o2 meaning you would only be able to use an o2 sim card in it ,unless you get the phone unlocked

So you need to ring O2 and tell them that you want to ,put a Vodafone sim card into your O2 phone .

They will text the code to you .

You then go to Vodaphone shop and they will do the rest.
