Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Hi, myself and a friend have two weeks free at the end of august and we are trying to get a holiday planned. We don't want a package sun holiday and we don't want to stay in the one spot for the two weeks. Our thoughts are between; flying to south east france and travelling around by car or getting a one country rail pass or getting a global pass and travelling to few countries in europe. Our latest idea is getting the global rail pass. So that would mean we plan to fly to carcossone (can't spell sorry, south east of france), maybe drive to marseilles;overall stay in france would be for four days, then get a train to croatia, stay in zagreb for one or two nights, get the train to budapest, stay for one or two nights and then ljubjana, stay here for one or two nights and finish up in amsterdam and fly home. We have 14/15 days to do this. Is this feasible? Does anybody have experince of doing a similar route and have any advice; regarding train journeys and the cities?

Did it in Italy last week for a week. We did Pisa saw leaning tower ect ect. Then went on to Florence, was really nice. Then to Rome
You could even go to Venice before Pisa. And go from Rome to Pompai and spend a night there.

    So that would be Ireland-Venice-Pisa-Florence-Rome-Pompai-Rome-Ireland
Flew from Dublin-Pisa Then Rome-Dublin. Got a good deal with Ryinair. Prices will be low in last 2 weeks of Aug, you will get good deals! Train company in Italy is called TreinItalia. That takes you from place to place.

    Great Fun!
