Apologies about not backing my statement up earlier ( just incase you thought i was just me starting a rumour)
    Credit: F4WOnline.com

There has reportedly been some talk of running DX vs. Legacy as the final match on Sunday's Summerslam pay-per-view. A lot will come down to how WWE books the finishes of the WWE and World Championship matches; if creative scripts neither match to culminate with a happy ending, it might opt to put the tag grudge match on last to send the fans home satisfied.

DX vs. Legacy closing the show is, nonetheless, still a long shot--in the past, rumors that a non-title bout would close the show have typically proven false. The major evidence supporting the rumor, at press time, is the fact that WWE's websites are billing DX vs. Legacy as a featured attraction. On Summerslam.com, the match has been moved to the "main event" category (alongside CM Punk vs. Jeff Hardy and John Cena vs. Randy Orton). On WWE.com, DX vs. Legacy has the highest billing.

Also found a twitter comment from Matt Hardy
Matt Hardy posted the following message on Twitter Friday night and we'll just have to see what happens next:

Here's an update for the "sheets"-Jeff & I might not team again due to pursuing singles careers. And Jeff will be with WWE after Summerslam

DX Vs Legacy shouldn't finish SummerSlam, a title match should, plain and simple.

So Jeff is going to be around after Summerslam, interesting to see who he'll face as CM Punk is ment to fued with
    The Undertaker
    at Breaking Point

Where did you find info about Punk v
    Taker
    at Breaking Point?

Jeff will be with WWE doesn't mean anything really.

If he goes there is money to be made from his merchandise so he will probably be under a contract so he doesn't go anywhere else. Then if he decides to come back it will be with wwe.

I can see John Morrison interferring in the tlc match, the hart dynsity will run out to save punk and then matt hardy will run out to save jeff and he will get knocked out and then John Morrison will run out and as he attempts to hit punk with a chair he will hit jeff hardy with it. Thus Cm Punk winning the title.

Or Matt Hardy will turn on Jeff as it was a plan between Himself and Cm Punk that he reunite with his brother.

    Dx will beat legacy.

Randy Orthan Will Beat John Cena.

Jericho and Big Show will Retain there titles

    Rey will beat Ziggler

Kane will beat the great Khaili

Not trying to backseat mod or anything but seeing as how posting streaming links for PPV is a no-no could that be added in the thread title?
Its the second biggest PPV of the year and some posters who rarely post here may not know the procedure. :o

Anyone actually staying up to watch this?

What's the full card? All I know is:

    Ziggler v Rey
    DX v Legacy
    Cena v Orton
    Punk v Jeff

Four matches that could be good, but Cena/Orton has been done to death and can't see anything but a burial in the tag match.

I'm sure that the Punk vs Hardy match will be really great. Like match of the year candidate great

  • Moderators, Sports Moderators Posts: 18,520 Mod ✭✭✭✭DM_7

I am interested in the card for tonight. I won't be watching but if the 7 interesting (In my view)matches deliver I will get the DVD.

I don't see how they could really improve on it. They have allowed scope for new people to shine while giving Orton Cena, which the average fan should be happy enough with and a Punk v Jeff match that could be awesome.

yep im fairly confident about that one myself, so confident i can only be let down :pac: nah I think itl be great and will probably have one of the more interesting finishes in any WWE match for a long time.

If it is Jeff's last match for now, he'll surely pull out all the stops to make it memorable.

The possibilities for the finish are endless, and that is what I want in a show, something you know should be good but with an outcome that is hard to predict.

Totally agree. I think if nothing else on the show, Jeff's performance should be one to watch. He's been the consumate pro for the past few months, even after making it clear he wanted to leave, and I expect no different from him tonight. Should be a great match.

If anyone fancies a bit of light reading before the show, our site's predictions have went up... As a whole I think it'll be worth watching.

Watching that makes me wonder why I ever thought edge would lose the hair v hair match.

Interestingly I can actually tolerate Big Slow these days purely because he's part of Jerishow. In other words, Jericho is so talented he makes Big Show tolerable.

a lot of people thought the same thing tbh although looking back ive no idea why as well Kurt never really did have all that much hair and the skin head look obviously suited him a lot more than it would have Edge.

Plus wasn't Kurt's hairline receding? The bald look works for him anyway.

    Edge:(

The one man missing from the card that should be on it (Taker excluded as he needed time off)

It really was receding, thats why I'm wondering now how it wasn't obvious (To Me) that he was gonna lose what was left of his hair.

I just watched TLC 1 (oh my!) in honour of tonight's 9 year anniversary of the TLC (oh my!) match and it's still incredible the bumps those folks took, just insane.
