Yahoo has announced that geocities.com and geocities sites will be deleted on, October 26, 2009. http://crenk.com/yahoos-geocities-to-close-forever/ [nostalgic sigh] Not a new announcement, but it is the first time I've read a specific date. Apologies if this has been posted before.
