Mauro Ranallo & Matt Striker will be the English announcers for NJ iPPV.

    Dirt worst.

Ugh not Matt Stinker. I liked Mauro when he did Pride and Strikeforce.

Striker is good when he just does his job. He usually tries to be too smart and makes a balls of it.

Power Struggle on the 9th looks like this:

    1. Special Tag Match: Togi Makabe & Kota Ibushi vs. Prince Devitt & Bad Luck Fale
    2. Special Tag Match: Yuji Nagata & Kazushi Sakuraba vs. Toru Yano & Takashi Iizuka
    3. Special Singles Match: Tomoaki Honma vs. Katsuyori Shibata
    4. Special Singles Match: Hiroshi Tanahashi vs. Tomohiro Ishii
    5. IWGP Tag Team Title & NWA World Tag Team Title – 3WAY Irregular Rules Match: Hiroyoshi Tenzan & Satoshi Kojima (c) vs. Lance Archer & Davey Boy Smith Jr. (c) vs. Rob Conway NWA & Jax Dane NWA
(Two falls, first is for the NWA tag titles, second is for the IWGP tag titles)
    6. NEVER Openweight Title (& IWGP Heavyweight Title shot): Tetsuya Naito (c) vs. Masato Tanaka ZERO1
    7. IWGP Intercontinental Title: Shinsuke Nakamura (c) vs. Minoru Suzuki
    8. IWGP Heavyweight Title: Kazuchika Okada (c) vs. Karl Anderson

Tanahashi vs Ishii looks to be the stand out there.

Ibushi recently signed a new contract with NJPW so I'm guessing he will get the Jr. title from Devitt in the near future.

The show on the 6th is also an iPPV now. Finals and semi finals of the Jr's tag tournament will be on it.

Gedo and Jado vs The Young Bucks
BUSHI & Valiente vs Forever Hooligans

Are the Bullet Club using a new theme? They came out to a different song at a recent show. See around the 14:00 mark.

No that is the groups theme Devitt has his own song which i assume you thought was also the Bullet Club's theme here they are using it back in July.

Ah, cheers for that. I love Devitt's theme so I was worried it was ditched.

Any truth to the rumours Devitt has signed with WWE?

Would be bittersweet to put it mildly!

    No. They are just talking.

Devitt holds the New Japan's Junior Heavyweight belt and most likely will defend it at New Japan's version of Wrestlemania on January 4th. IF signs we probably won't known until then.

I believe he is dropping it for sure they didn't sign Ibushi for nothing.

    Some hurdles before Devitt leaves:
    1. After raising Devitt from a pup Devitt isn't leaving without dropping the title.

    2. Someone of Devitt's stature does require giving notice before leaving.

    3. Traditionally New Japan contracts expire after the January 4 show.

    4. The application of a US Visa and medical tests.

Things might leak before then who knows but these things will be required. So cool the jets he isn't showing up on Raw or even NXT next week or anything.

Bucks are the new Junior Tag Champions.

NJPW "WRESTLE KINGDOM VIII IN TOKYO DOME, 04.01.2014
    Tokyo Dome

    1. IWGP Jr. Heavyweight Tag Team Title, 4 Way Match: Matt Jackson & Nick Jackson vs. TAKA Michinoku & Taichi vs. Alex Shelley & KUSHIDA vs. Rocky Romero & Alex Koslov
    2. IWGP Tag Team Title: Davey Boy Smith Jr. & Lance Archer (c) vs. Sieger der WORLD TAG LEAGUE 2013
    3. Special Singles Match: Togi Makabe vs. Bad Luck Fale
    4. Hirooki Goto Return Match: Hirooki Goto vs. Katsuyori Shibata
    5. Special Tag Match: Yuji Nagata & Kazushi Sakuaraba vs. Daniel Gracie & Rolles Gracie
    6. IWGP Jr. Heavyweight Title: Prince Deivtt (c) vs. Kota Ibushi
    7. IWGP Intercontinental Title: Shinsuke Nakamura (c) vs. Hiroshi Tanahashi
    8. IWGP Heavyweight Title: Kazuchika Okada (c) vs. Tetsuya Naito

The Junior Tag, Junior, Intercontinental and Heavyweight matches should be great. Ishii instead of Goto and that would have been five potential MOTYC on the one card.

I preferred Goto and Shibata's match this year so I'm happy about that. That is one spectacular pro wrestling card on paper.

The January 4th show seems like Wrestlemania 17. They need to make it 5 hours long though so everyone gets time!

Shame Ishii isn't on the main card probably only the dark match after the great year he has had but apart from that cannot wait for it everything except Makabe/Fale looks good to great.

You can vote for the main event of WrestleKingdom.

    http://www.tv-asahi.co.jp/wrestling/pc/info/131111/index.html

Click on the third (red) box. The option on the left is Okada vs Naito, on the right is Nakamura vs Tanahashi. After that, you need to confirm your choice by selecting the box on the left.

You can copy and paste into Google translate if you want to double check.

After nearly a year of bullying and top rope foot stomps to his balls Captain New Japan pinned Prince Devitt in a tag match today:

    Biggest upset of the year.

BulletClub's Doc Gallows and Karl Anderson have won the 2013 World Tag League after defeating G.B.H. in the semi-finals and Ten-Koji in the finals.

Tanahashi vs Nakamura for the IC title will be the WrestleKingdom main event. Okada vs Naito will almost definitely be second to last now.

    Doc Gallows?
I assume thats Luke 'the director of chaos' Gallows. Never knew he joined NJPW or the BulletClub

Awful name (imo) but yep, it's him. Bullet Club has really expanded quickly. A little too quickly for my liking. Gallows only joined at the start of the tournament.

Along with the original four, you have Gallows, the Young Bucks, and for CMLL appearances Rey Bucanero, La Comandante and El Terrible.

Not a fan of that at all, especially if Naito is winning (which he should).
