does anyone know if there is a proper website for midlands rifle range?the only one i can find is crap and doesnt have any usefull info.want to know is it possible to go shoot there for a day with a.22 and if so how much does it cost?im insured and all.

If it's your .22, yes, given them a phone call.
If it's not your .22, if you want to hire one for the day, then no, it's not possible.

They DO NOT hire rifles.

Open Saturday and Sunday only.

i have my own rifle sothats ok,any idea what ammo your allowed to use?or how much it costs to shoot for day

Any 22 subs and HV.

It was €25 to include gun hire, insurance, 50 rounds, and a target.
Could be €15 for rimfire to include the Range Insurance.

Not 22 HVs. Frowned upon and you may be asked not to fire them.

Ring J.P. Craven. He is at the range 7 days a week. Alot of lads go over to the club on a Thursday. The club is available 7 days a week to members once you ring in advance (monday to friday). Ring J.P. and i'm sure there will be no hassle going over Thursday but talk to him first. By the by the club is closed this Sunday (26-7-09) as the majority of the lads and range officers are heading to Bisley.
