Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Must... resist temptation.... to list.... Berlin prices....

Everything I don't like is either woke or fascist - possibly both - pick one.

It's stuff like this that makes me glad I don't live in Dublin anymore. Last time I was over I was charged 6euros for a bottle of Heineken in Nearys.

My local in London is £2.60 a pint...and was in a place recently where it was £1.80 for a vodka and lemonade
why do you live in a very expensive place like london ,i went out last night in fleetwood and drank guiness, it costs me £2.10 a pint,

lol nowhere near, pints are €8.50 in most bars in nice, france, saw them selling bottles of magners for 9.50 in one or two places, heading to norway in a few weeks and been told that is considered cheap

I lived in Norway for a few months, the local beer was about €8 a pint (and they did that European thing of not filling it up to the very top), so obviously the alternative was to drink at home. The state runs all the offies and they all close at 3pm on a Saturday. The next time they open is at 9 on a Monday. Enjoy.

One of my locals has started doing €3 a pint on Sundays. Allot more lock ins these days too, even blatantly staying open till 2am some nights.

I found London to be great value, could get a round in (centre of London mind) for less than a round in my small town in the west of Ireland.

    €3 for a Club Orange!(250ml).

As a non-drinker, this drives me mad. Not much of an incentive to go to a pub and drink minerals when it costs €18 for 1.5 Ltrs!! I don't have an exact price for a 1.5Ltr bottle in a shop, but I'm guessing it'd be around €2-€3? How's that for a mark up?

About 10 years ago I decided to only drink tap water with ice in pubs. Apart from buying my mates a drink, going to a pub costs me nothing now, and I end up drinking a few pints of water which is healthier...

Cant believe that in dublina, if you're to buy 3 pints, it'll cost ya 20€. Down here in mid-Cork, most pints are below 4€.

Clearly this place needs avoiding, so dont go to this establishment!(Just noticed you cant post pics in AH!)

€7.50 for a glass of house white wine in the hilton in northern cross.

    1. Its f*cking northern cross, who the f*ck can afford that?!
    2. Its house white, and a glass at that.
    3. It wasnt remotely full. not even the posh half full glass you'd expect, it was just plain half empty!!

the only reason i go there is cause i have a meeting once a week. i'll be bringing a bottle of my lidl water in future!

    robbin b*stards!

2 pints of Heineken after a charity cycle last year that finished in Monte Carlo

    27 euro ..

Lets just say we were very thirsty

Travelled onto Nice were they were only 14 quid for two which seemed a bargain compared to the previous.
