Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Not gonna provide links as the figures keep changing seeing as it's Youtube but,

    Pavarotti & U2 - Miss Sarajevo - 1,380,000 views

Pavarotti & Spice Girls - Viva Forever - 1,421,000 views

These are the maximum figures for videos featuring the respective artists.

Any other videos in either case are lesser.

Just wondering what are people's thoughts on this. No need to slate the poster and say "well what did you expect?".

Just wondering, anyone else find this a surprise?

Well it makes a twisted sort of sense really; U2 are popular, Pavarotti is popular, and so were the Spice Girls - so essentially any video featuring at least one of the above is going to have people find it in a search for either of the two artists; if U2 are just as popular as Pavarotti (which is possible) then twice as many people will find Miss Sarajevo in a search result.

Of course, if your question is "how on earth can people listen to that muck" then i whole heartedly agree it's very strange indeed, on both counts.

More people wanted to see Pavarotti and the Spice Girls than Pavarotti and U2

    Hope that helps.

Not a fan of either either but it's just that I thought that since U2 have a much larger, continuous and more broadly-based following, that their song with Pavarotti would have had more views.

And thanks for that insight Gus, never thought of looking at it that way. Smartypants :P
