Because it's a good chance to show if off and increase sales.
Even most barstoolers who never watch LOI are aware what a normal Rovers jersey looks like so there is less point using that one.

Since the away jersey is new and pretty nice it's a good idea.

he expects it every other week, he probably thought he'd have garlands thrown at him on his debut. Anyway, I boo every team that comes out the tunnel in opposition, they haven't even set foot on the pitch yet to do anything wrong. They're playing my team, that's enough.
