Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hey folks,

the Kings of Concrete is on this coming Saturday and Sunday at the Dublin City Council Offices, Wood Quay. Last year was great fun and some people on this board produced some great images.

I've got a timetable for the two days around here somewhere, so will post it later for people.

    Anybody thinking of heading down?

I am more than tempted! Do you know whether are there any restriction for photography? Accreditations are needed in advance? Is there free movement of photographers?

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,337 ✭✭✭positivenote

hi guys ive been the last two years and will be going on sat. There is no restriction to photographers you can snap away... its all a fairly relaxed atmosphere and is very well run. Last year the weather helped as the sun was splitting the stones...
check out some of the snaps i got last year here>>

    Thonda,

I'll be there riding my bike and maybe doing a bit of shooting. It's a free public event and the previous years you can pretty much do whatever you like regarding taking photos. You're with me if anyone does say anything! I think the weather is meant to be wet on the Sunday, so if it is not alot will be happening. I think Saturday is the best bet.
I might bring along my flashes and tripods again. Dazftw is coming up too I think so we should have plenty of good lighting if its workable with the ramps, bcrowd barriers and people. I know last year some bags were stolen so anyone who is going and leaving bags on the ground, even for a short period of time...keep a good eye on them!

I'll also be there, keeping myself to myself :)
