    Hi there,

Casey is looking for a new home. Due to a series of disasters, my boyfriend and I have had to give up our home and are living back in our respective parents' homes. My parents have a dog who can't be kept with any other animals, so Casey went to live with my boyfriend. His parents decided this week that the dog can no longer sleep in the house at night (she didn't do anything to cause them to make this decision, nothing had changed) and has been relegated to living outdoors 24/7. She hasn't developed a coat that will let her deal with the current weather and I know that she isn't getting the care and attention that she deserves. So I'd like to tell you a little bit about her, and hope that someone out there can give her the home that she deserves.

Casey is an 8 month old German Shepherd x Collie. She is vaccinated and wormed and has no health problems. She gets on well with all animals and loves people of all shapes and sizes. She's very affectionate and sweet tempered, she's so very clever. She sits, stays, lies down, rolls over, fetches, gives both paws, will sit and wait for her dinner to be put down for her, and when you give her a treat and tell her "gently" she takes the treat with the softest movement you've ever seen in your life!

She loves to learn new tricks and is very easy to train, and with a decent walk a day will gladly just flake out at your feet in the evenings. I'm absolutely gutted at having to rehome her, Casey is the kind of dog you want to have forever because every day she just gets better and better. She's always been loved to bits and isn't afraid of anything.

Casey would do best in a home where there are no very small children, not because she'd harm them or be rough in any way, but she's still young and excitable and she's knocked some children over with her tail!! That said, when she gets a little older she'll calm down and I know she'll be as amazing with toddlers as she is with everyone else.

Please PM me if you think you might be able to give Casey a home, or if you would like any further information!

Thanks Bearpup! I'm devastated over it but it would be selfish to keep her just because I want her, when I know she's not in the best home... I just want the best for her!

Have you seen Petal and Flower on the Drogheda Animal Rescue site? Flower has limited sight & for some reason black & white cats are never as popular :/

We adopted our blind cat from DAR, they do great work :)

4 month old tiger striped and leopard spotted kitten needs a wonderful home. Unfortunately my older cat and the kitten do not get a long at all and the kitten needs a loving place with a loving family.
He is neutered, litter trained and always knows to go outside to go bathroom. He is an adorable kitten and very loving and snuggly! Please give this poor kitten a new wonderful home.

    Pictures now added!!

Good home wanted for Golden Labrador. Male approx 2-3 years old. the dog is well trained and has a lovely temperament. Good with children , other dogs and cats.

This was a dog we found but has not been claimed. We cannot keep it as we already have a large dog and do not have room for both of them.

Anybody in the Midlands area looking for a best friend?

I have a 4yr old special breed rescue dog that needs a really special home ASAP. He is surgically attached to my ankle but unfortunately I am not in a position to keep him longterm.

He is a real lapdog, but will need walking, he is is good on the lead and housetrained. Medium sized, very clean dog. Will have some special requirements due to breed (care/maintenance) but in perfect health.

Timid and placid, but once settled will be very affectionate.
Needs owner that works from home, or will have someone at home most of the time.

Likes children but is nervous and does not like loud noises, so needs a quiet home. Would probably be fine in an enviroment with older children, or retired person.

Loves people but has not been well-socialised, so does not have a name, come to call, or know any commands!

Would suit someone who treats their dog like a surrogate child, will be the cause of a lot of dog-envy! :P

The longer I keep this dog, the more attached he becomes, its breaking my heart, but he needs a special STABLE home, and I am not in a position to give this to him. :(

    Please PM for more details.

A friend directed me here and said there are members who deal with rehoming special breed dogs, if so could they please contact me. This dog is papered and entire, and has been used as a stud dog in the past.

    FRED.jpg

This sweetie is called Fred and he is a stray currently living in a make-do shelter in my back garden. I've treated him for a few minor problems, got him neutered and treated him for fleas, ticks, mites etc. So he is now healthy and prettified and ready for a home with some real "cat people" who will give him the attention he craves.

He needs indoor/outdoor access and can't go to a home with other cats as he is stuck in his old tomcat pattern of bullying other cats! However he is extremely friendly and affectionate to humans so don't worry about his personality. You couldn't get a cuter little cuddler!

If you have a safe environment for this little guy, and interested in giving him a loving home after he has been neglected for a long time, then please PM me.

Not sure if there's a reason for not mentioning which breed it is but here is a list of some of the specific breed rescues in Ireland http://www.irishanimals.ie/breedrescue.html Off the top of my head EGAR is missing off that list (bull breeds).

If you are re-homing the dog yourself please neuter him, it will save him from falling into the wrong hands further down the line, don't give the papers with him either, if he is neutered there is no need for them for breeding or showing reasons anyways and it happens regularly that people actually sell papers to other people for different dogs. If they just want a record of his details then a photocopy will suffice.

I have rehomed many times here on Boards.
I have what I like to call a cat sanctuary here in Mullingar. Basically I have taken in any strays and unwanted feline's that have come my way.
I have currently 32 little mouths to feed and shelter. I'm not complaining, I wouldn't have it any other way. But I don't want to get to the stage were I have to turn 4 footed friends away.
Ok, so I have no intentions of rehoming them all, there's about 15 who are "mine" but I would dearly love some to go to safe forever homes where they can get lots of attention. There's only so much I can do.
So, if anyone would like to home a kitten or preferably an older cat please please please consider our bunch.
I can post pictures, but basically there are every colour under the sun and all types.
Eventually I might have to go the "Charity" route and set myself up that way, but I would prefer to keep going this way, but until then all help greatly appreciated.

    Hi,
We have 4 male guinea pigs, they are 3 years old and we have them from babies. There is one brown and one black fluffy one, they live in one cage. Then we have 2 white guinea pigs in another cage. They are very good pets and the kids love them but we have now got a house dog and they don't get on.
We are hoping to find someone who will take good care of them. All accessories will come with the guinea pigs.

    Thanks for looking.
    AC

The DSPCA is stuffed with cats and kittens at the moment - all shapes, sizes, colours and ages. Maybe give them a buzz or call out to see if they have any that would suit you.

Last Hope Animal Cahrity are associated with Kitten Cottage and may also have a kitty to suit you - www.lasthope.ie

I have had 2 terrapins (1 is about 3inches and the other is about 6inches) for 4 years now and I`m leaving the country before Christmas, so I`ll be unable to look after them and it`s very problematic to take them with me.
I have them in a tank and i will supply this also to whoever wants them, however the tank is a bit small for them two now.. I do not want money, as i would just like them to be in a good home..can supply some turtle food for a first time as well..
I will deliver them anywhere in Cork area. Please send me a pvt message.
