    Hi all,

I am broken hearted at having to post this. I have been offered a new job in Dublin and due to work hours and trying to find a house, I feel it would be selfish to take my dog with me. I would be working 10 hour days and she would be alone all that time , and in a house where she does not know people. I am rehoming her with her best interests.

Echo is a 10month old West Highland Terrier, bright and full of beans, and so loveable. She is microchipped, purebred (no papers), not spayed. She has just finished her first heat. I would be giving everything you need, food, bed, lead, bowls, etc, and have no problem contributing to the cost of spaying her. I would need to meet you and see your home as I only want the best for my little one.

She is extremely friendly, well socialised, great on the lead, impeccable off lead when with other dogs, her recall when walking alone is improving. She is fully house trained and was crate trained from day one.

Anyone wanting more info, please PM me. (Sorry about my shoddy uploads, Im new to this!)

Aww....I want to give him a home so badly....and one of mine is the female version of his colour....really can't though.:(:(

Maybe hang on to him til you get to the new place and see how it goes for a while? I understand your pain on the litter front, it's disgusting.Even with the best will in the world....

as i already said a few times i cannot keep him as 4 cats is way too many indoors, especially with me pregnant, and its either 1 now or all 4 in a month or 2 when they drive me mad and that i def dont wanna do.

    Hi Folks,

I have started my own thread on this as i was not aware that this existed but i am also in a horrible predicament as i need to find a loving and caring home for my near4 year old staffy:(

I have Max since he was 10 weeks old, he is brindle and white with no health issues at all, very energetic like all staffs and loves his long daily walks and chasing his ball/stick. Work abroad has forced me to do this otherwise i would never have dreamt of ever leaving him !! Max really is a dog for a young couple without children or other pets (he has been socialised with both but not to any great extent) he is spoilt rotten and sleeps indoors and is fully house trained. He wets himself (not literally:)) at the sight of a stranger coming through the door and lives for a cuddle and a rub of his tummy.

If anyone knows of someone looking for Max they can pm me. I will need to be assured that he goes to only the best home as thats all he is used to !!

Here is a pic of him

Hi I have baby mice they're gorgeous, black with varying degrees of white spots/markings I also have a fawn coloured one with white belly and marking but if its a girl i'm keeping it, if its a boy it will need a new home though. they are 1 and half weeks old so will be ready to be rehomed in two weeks.
Three of the mice are missing a back paw and one of the three is also missing the end of its tail.
I have 7 altogether looking for loving homes.

These will only go as pets not feed.

hi all about a week ago I took in a little pup as her owners didnt want her and were going to dump her and hope she'd get picked up by someone!!! Crazy I know, anwyay shes a three month old lab boxer cross and what a beauty she is! shes really mild and gentle loves to cuddle up beside me when she can but understands not to when told to do so. I cant keep her cos our house and garden are too small and we have a 10 week old baby so we have our hand full already:eek: when i walk her I dont need the lead as she'll walk/run by my side and seems fine with other dogs. I live in galway so if anyone is interested in taking her shes free to a caring home. thanks

    Hello,

I have 9 month old Lab / Collie Cross to rehome . My son bought him but has since found work in the US and I am unable to look after him. He is very energetic therefore needs to be walked and he has a bit of an obsession with playing fetch!

He is an excellent watchdog and is good with children although he hasn't had too much exposure to them.

    Have a photo up here:

:confused:Every dog needs to be walked, especially at that age!

Maybe try your local dog rescue centres to see if they can help out with the rehoming too. whereabouts are you?

EDIT: just looked at the ad on donedeal sealgaire, beautiful dog! have you looked at other options such as getting someone to walk him? It's very sad that he would have his life turned upsidedown and thrown into a whole new life through no fault of his own. You say you have another dog so you're obviously used to dogs and they would be great company for each other. If it's just the exercise surely you could work something out, re-homing should be a last resort and in this case it seems pretty extreme to me

    Hi magentas,

Thanks for your reply, Don't take this as being rude but saying that me rehoming the dog is extreme is pretty inconsiderate. You do not know my circumstances.

I would prefer to rehome him to a young family where he would have children to play with. I had a man looking at him yesterday, I think he may have been a traveller. He said he wants to use him for breeding and as a lurcher. Can somebody tell me what a lurcher is? I beleive it is some kind of show? I'm not sure.

a lurcher is a dog, i suppose maybe like a smaller verson of a greyhound. Certain communitys like these dogs as they are used for hunting and i think lamping. be careful he is now not stolen as they are a breed that are stolen a lot.
just looking at the link u had up, he is deffo not a lurcher so dont know what he was looking at. all the same becareful as if he thinks it is a lurcher he might come back for it.

DO NOT SELL THIS PERSON YOUR DOG!!

If anyone mentions breeding then do not under any circumstances sell it to them. Get the dog neutered before you rehome it.

Sealgaire whatever you do please do not give your dog to this man and keep an extra close eye on him now as he may be stolen.

A lurcher is a sighthound crossed with another breed, typically labrador, collie or staffie these days. Your dog is not a lurcher.

Give your dog at least a fighting chance of finding a good home where he will be looked after as a pet only and get him neutered and chipped. Also get advice from local animal rescues on the best ways to go about rehoming him and take down any free to good home ads on fee ad websites. They quite often attract men like the above or people looking for bait dogs for dog fighting.
