EDIT: THIS POST IS ON HOLD - BEN MAY HAVE A REPRIEVE - HIS OWNER IS HAVING SECOND THOUGHTS, BUT HAS TO GET IT PAST HER FAMILY :)

Fingers and toes crossed that Ben gets another chance! From experience I can say that labs are at their liveliest at this age and become much more docile and gentle as they mature, there is a reason why they are working guide and rescue dogs.

    Hi there,

due to my landlady being a bitch, we have to get rid of our 5 month old young cat called Foo. He is an orange tabby, who is very playful and loves chicken nuggets.

I am just looking for someone who has a garden for him, he is so affectionate and great with kids. If you are interested I will include a box of food and of course, all his favourite toys. He has also had training with walking on a cat harness, so you can take him for walks safely.

It's breaking my heart but I've tried the last month to find a home for him, if I can't find a home for him soon he'll have to go to the Kildare Animal Shelter.

If you know anyone interested or if you are interested yourself please PM me.

Hey guys, I have a male Zebra Finch, about 3 and a half years old (rough guess!) looking for a new home. His cagemate died and I've decided not to keep birds anymore. So if anyone has finches already he'd make a great addition!

Its going to break my heart to do this, but due to an unavoidable relocation we have to rehome our two beloved dogs:(

Tyson is a twelve month old boxer. We've had him since a pup and is very well mannered (a big softy really:o). He's fully house trained but has not been raised with young children, and thus may not be suitable for young families. All his vaccinations are up to date, as well as being microchipped and IKC registered.

Zero is a 14 month old collie retriever cross. Again we've had him since he was a pup. He's a very active dog and needs his space to play. Like his housemate he's fully vaccinated and microchipped (as well as being house trained). Zero would suit a more experienced dog owner who has the time to care for him properly.

We (myself and my partner) would like to meet any interested people to vet them first. Their beds, food & water dishes, collars, leads and food are to go with them. If anyone has any questions feel free to contact me via PM.

My name is Belle, I am a beautiful GSD mix who was rescued from horrible circumstances when I was younger! My new Daddy took me in, gave me the love and affection I deserve and made me realise that life can be good again! But sadly, due to reasons beond his control he is forced to emigrate to Australia and I can't go with him!!!
I am a little wary of men as Iv met some who were very ...mean to me in the past but I am the sweetest dog ever, I am great with children and just want someone who will love me!

My Daddy really doesn't want to put me in the pound as he is afraid of what might happen to me, and I really dont want that either!

Can you offer me a home??
I promise I will be a good dog and love you forever.....

    Hugs and kisses,
    Belle.

most rescues require you to return the dog to them if u are need to rehome them for any reason so first port of call should be going back to rescue you got Belle from

Please tell him to contact a rescue if he cannot rehome the dog before he goes. Rescues do not put dogs down, pounds do. If a dog is brought in to by the owner i.e. surrendered, the pound will put them down very quickly. They keep lost dogs longer in case the owners are looking for them, but then put them down as well.

3 month old puppies looking for a home. Their mother is a Labrador spaniel cross and the father is a deer hound greyhound cross. They will potentially be big leggy babies! 2 bitches and a dog.

They are very well socialised, love travelling in the car, currently living with a cat and with kids.

The bitch is a very much loved family pet and the family are looking for good homes, the pups are ready to go now.

If you are interested, please PM me and I will get back to you with the contact details. The pups are in Co Kilkenny.

Please do PM as I don't really frequent this thread.

    Thanks

My daughter cannot look after her 7 year old Jack Russell any longer and has drawn a complete blank in trying to rehome him.

The dog is chipped and neutered and is not great with small children.

She is very distressed at the alternative of not being able to find a new home for him.

Please pm me if you can help and I'll pm you my phone number. It's becoming urgent.

I rescued this little girl last week, she's now approx 7 weeks old. It breaks my heart but we unfortunately cannot keep her as we have 3 dogs. She is a very affectionate kitten, and will happily sit on your lap purring for hours on end and will immediately run to you and nuzzle your feet when you see her, she wants nothing more than love. She has been wormed and is using the litterbox very well. If you can give her a loving home please contact me, I am in the Laois/Offaly area.

    Hi All

About three months ago our 7 year old dog landed us with 7 surprises - we thought she was spayed when we got her. Unfortunately we are unable to keep all of them although we have found homes for two. These pups are lovable, cute and extremely playful and the mother has a wonderful temperament and loves to fetch things. We have four males and one female to rehome.

These pups would make wonderful family pets and hopefully some of you out there will be able to give them a home where they will be loved.

I can't believe it has come to this but I need to find a good loving home for my little girl :( She's a 4yr pug (spayed).

She's full of energy, LOVES loads of attention and loves her walks, she's a bit of a coward and I've no idea why as we've had her since she was 8 weeks old and hasn't been treated badly at all. She's a cute little madam and catches on very quick :D Has been around cats and babies and is ok with both but would need an eye kept on her as she has a tendency to let the excitement take her!

I have tried all my family in the hope of keeping her close but to no avail. I am no longer able to look after her after a very difficult pregnancy with lasting complications :(

Would love to find someone nearby/local so I could still see her and be part of her life...

I've attached a few photos but they don't do her justice at all..:(

    Hello,
I saw your post about having to rehome your pug and was wondering if you have found a home yet for your wee one?

I ask this because around the 20th /21st Dec, my friends mum had to have her 10 y o female pug PTS as she had cancer of the spine and went downhill V quickly, leaving her broken hearted and having to make that v sad, but difficult and brave decision. (She had had Cheeko since she was only weeks old.)

She has another wee pug who is a yr old pug called Pippa, who is missing her sister dreadfully and has been thinking that another pug will help them both.

Only tonight, I posted on Pug Welfare Ireland, and a few other places asking if anyone knew of a pug needing a good home....I can vouch for this home 110%.

If your little one is still in need of a home, she would want for NOTHING with my friends mum and dad.

If you need to know anything further, please feel free to contact me.
I know this is a difficult decision, but you are doing this in the interests of your wee pug.

    Kind regards
    Kim

Further to my earlier thread, introducing Shelly:
    shelly.jpg

She was bought August 2010 and was very small back then. She has grown significantly and is about the size of a large man's hand now. She was bought for a 10 year old who is now 12 and has no interest in turtles anymore. She is a terrapin. She is being neglected in her current environment and needs a good home, as you can see from the photo. Also being given away is the filter which is an elite aquatic x301 and the tank that you see there. Also how filthy is that water - I'm guessing extremely. Looks fairly toxic to me. All will be cleaned out before handing over.

Let me know if there's any interest. Thanks

EDIT: the turtle lives in Galway, but there are frequent trips made between Galway and Dublin if that were more suitable.

    Hi all,
I have some chinchilla's looking for a good home if you are intrested. There are 2 with a cage around 9 months and there are 3 young ones nearly 10 weeks with no cage. I would insist on keeping them together in a group of 2(9 month) and 3(10 weeks). These are male chinchillas. They are really fantastiic pets and very funny to watch but we have 8 and it is just too many for us to handle. Parents can be seen. FREE TO GOOD HOMES.
