    whats the going rate for wh and very good fr bullocks with the weight.they are 1.5yrs old and around 425kg i have about 20 and need to sell but have no time for marts.

    Your local paper might also have a mart report and you could get an idea of price.

    400KG Friesian bllocks seem to be only getting € per KG at the moment. Prices have fallen, as they usually do when you are selling. Interestingly, they seem to rise at the time you are buying. Strange isn't it?

    just back from ardee where there was a protest at mr goodmans offices avery good turnout padraig walsh was there .... alot of annoyed people there

    think theres no market at mo for fresian bullocks..arse fallen out of cattle prices--there worst hit!
    mite get from a €1 a kg to €50 over the kg for a gd friesan bullock--from what i seen at marts!
    only gd cattle making any sort of money..ie charolais/limousins!
    unreal-bad year for cattle farming--farming in general!
