Hi. I'm a 17 year old looking for ways to make a bit of extra cash. I have a job in the local shop but it doesn't pay very well. Just wondering do you's have any idea's of how I could make myself some extra cash.

Is the shop well established? If so you can contact suppliers and get lots of stock in on credit, then re-sell it for discount prices through a fence. You can also take out a bank loan for 'refurbishments', and once you've finally bust out the joint you can burn it down for the insurance money.

    * note to self: may need to stop reading Goodfellas...

really random idea, but you could advertise a dog-walking service. I know a girl your age in blanch doing that and she's raking it in from the oul wans and such. e5 a pop maybe?

Ask for more hours at work? Are you getting the min wage(cos it's not bad to live on at your age).

Maybe mow lawns and do gardening for people. Place an ad in the shop/local newspaper?

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,664 ✭✭✭Doyler92

Yeah the dog walking idea could be a good one. I'll think about that one.
And yes I'm on min wage but I can't get any more hours. The shop isn't working out too well. I worked in it before and it shut down with the old owner.

Start our own business, see what you can do and what others will pay so they don't have to (walking dogs, painting, mowing lawns, washing cars etc etc, there's still lot of opportunity out there, you just have to look.

If you could get yourself a bike and a loan of a ladder because there is definitely a market for clearing the guttering of houses.

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,664 ✭✭✭Doyler92

    Dutch Rudder
When a man masturbates, and another person grabs his arm and makes him do the motion. It's sort of like a cross between masturbation and a handjob. He is still holding on, but the other person is still moving your arm.

Exactly. I reckon the old dude's arthritic hands could manage the gripping but the strenght mighn't be there to go through the motions, so that's where Doyler92 steps in. Jaysus, he could even do 2 ata a time, doubling his efficiency & profit.

Paper delivery and probably contacting local businness's for leaflet delivery telling them you will do it

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,664 ✭✭✭Doyler92

Lads I'll leave the dutch rudder to you's. And I rang the community voice because my friend delvers for them. They said they have enough people as it is.

What I meant was the local businesses that do leaflets or business cards into estates. So checkout leaflet delivery in the golden pages and also your local dominos or taxi firm etc or even your local Dunnes or Supervalu who all get leaflets delivered.

    They dont deliver themselves.

The OP asked how to MAKE money, not earn it. What you need is a reasonable scanner and a good quality printer.;)
